Many people confuse tube lights and spotlights

1. From the light source, tube lamps can be equipped with incandescent bulbs or energy-saving lamps. When installing incandescent lamps, the light is yellow. When installing energy-saving lamps, the bulb type can be white light or yellow light. The direction of the light source of the ceiling tube lamp cannot be adjusted. Generally, household spotlights use quartz bulbs or beads. Of course, large spotlights may not necessarily use quartz bulbs. Quartz light bulbs only have yellow light. Moreover, the direction of the light source for typical spotlights can be freely adjusted.
2. From the application location, tube lights are generally installed inside the ceiling, and the ceiling needs to be at least 150mm to be installed. Of course, there are also external types of tube lights. Installing tube lights in areas without ceiling lights or pendant lights is a good choice, as the light is softer compared to spotlights. Spotlights can generally be divided into various types such as track mounted, point mounted, and embedded. Spotlights usually come with transformers, but there are also those that do not. Embedded spotlights can be installed inside the ceiling. Spotlight is mainly used for places that require emphasis or expression, such as TV walls, hanging paintings, jewelry, etc., to create a light effect and enhance the effect.

In terms of price, spotlights are more expensive in the same category.It should be noted that spotlights should generally not be used for close range illumination of woolen fabrics, nor should there be flammable obstacles at close range, otherwise it may easily cause fires. Although spotlights consume a lot of power, their decorative effect varies greatly when placed in appropriate positions. The decoration of spotlights and colorful lamp cups has a unique flavor.
4. From the installation position perspective.A tube lamp is a type of lighting fixture that is embedded in the ceiling and emits downward light. Its biggest feature is that it can maintain the overall unity of building decoration, and will not damage the unity of ceiling art due to the setting of lighting fixtures. Tube lights do not occupy space and can increase the soft atmosphere of the space. If you want to create a warm feeling, you can try installing multiple tube lights.
Spotlight is mainly installed around the ceiling or on top of furniture, or placed inside walls, wall skirts, or baseboards. Used to highlight the aesthetic effect, emphasize the sense of hierarchy, and create atmosphere, it can play a leading role in overall lighting and also provide local lighting.
